Pretty Ponies
I'm making more horse cards - this time for my sister's dressage trainer, who was the recipient of one of the sets of cards I made for my sister to give to her friends at Christmas. For many of them, I'm reusing old designs, with small changes, but I'm really happy with this one, which I have not done before. It's so simple to do, but it's quite pretty, I think!
I stamped the Starving Artistamps horse 3 times in versarmark and embossed in clear. Then I sponged a line of each colour of my Flannel Kaleidecolor inkpad to create the background.
I hope she likes rainbows as much as I do!

Wow! I love this stamp and the rainbow colours. Horses are so popular in my area, for mustering cattle, pony club, breeders etc.. Fabulous card :)
Just LOVELY - super coloured ink pad - might have to add that to my list too!
Kathyk
Incredible...it looks like the horses are riding off into the sunset.
Love it! Can't see why any horse lover wouldn't.
The rainbow really makes the horse silhouettes stand out. Kinda makes a person smile. :)
Ooh, this is just lovely, Ardyth, looks as though there's a wonderful sparkle about the rainbow ... almost magic! More ink to add to the wish list! Anita :)
Ardyth your rainbow is beautiful and those horses stand out perfectly like there are trotting through it.
Stunning card. The horses look amazing in the silhouette and in the rainbow.
Very awesome! I bet your sister loves having you as a sister! :)
Very nice card - great job tfs!!!
"Quite pretty"? It's gorgeous!!
From a real horse lover, this card is creative and clearly shows how majestic these animals are IRL! I love the colorful background behind the white horses! I'm so going to have to CASE this one :)
This is really pretty!! Love the rainbow colors! Really neat technique too!
Beautiful card. Your rainbow is so pretty and those horses look like they are running.
Love how you didn't do a traditionally colored rainbow ... you always make things just a little off to be completely interesting and not predictable. Love. it.
Awesome Ardyth!
Beautiful Ardyth!
Your sister's horsey people will be lovin' these cards. I LOVE the colors that you used. The horses likely have a bit of sheen from the Versamark, that I'm sure looks even more spectacular in real life.
Love the multicolored backround Ardyth! So lovely!
